Covington - Mrs. Eva Kay Coonse, age 79, a former Covington resident who has been residing with a daughter, Mrs. Martha Stone, in Clinton, died Sunday, June 16, in a Champaign, Ill., hospital. She had gone there to visit a son, James when she became ill and was admitted to the hospital about an hour prior to her death. Survivors include: two daughters, Mrs. Stone and Mrs. Anna Lou Vandeventer of Montezuma; and two sons, James and Harold of West Terre Haute. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1948. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. today, June 19, at the Bedino Peace Chapel in West Terre Haute. The Rev. J. W. Stone officiated and burial was in the West Terre Haute Cemetery.
